Description
Author: Yvette Bailey
There are ordinary people living extraordinary lives in an ordinary way. We pass them on the sidewalks. We stand in line with them at the grocery stores. We sit next to them in the pews at church. We live next door to them. Alvin Augustus Campbell is one of those ordinary men living an extraordinary life in an ordinary way.
To see him walking down the street would not cause you to stop and admire him. However, when you engage him in a conversation, you will soon discover that he is on an extraordinary journey of hope, faith, and love. For him, to be “a living dog is better than a dead lion”.
